My first relationship

My first relationship with her,
a dance of innocence and wonder.
Two hearts, young and untamed
embracing the unknown with fervor

In the beginning of our love, all was uncertainty,
A dance of awkwardness and apprehension,
Two souls reaching out, seeking connection,
Each step carefully taken into the unknown.

Our steps intertwined, timid and true,
as we walked through fields of dreams.
With every touch, a symphony of sensations,
exploring uncharted realms it seems.

Together we walked through seasons of change,
shedding old skins and blossoming anew.
Like flowers, we bloomed under love's warm touch,
our bond deepening, becoming ever true.

Emotions soared to dizzying heights,
Love's intoxicating potion,
Filling our veins with sweet madness,
Blinding us to the world around.

But in this garden of love, weeds grew,
clouding our paradise with doubt and fear.
Misunderstandings sprouted like thorns,
pricking at our hearts, making us shed a tear.
Trust got exposed, hearts unprotected and slowly,
imperceptibly, cracks appeared.

Unfamiliar with the art of compromise,
we stumbled, faltered, and lost our way.
Frustration fueled words unsaid,
until apologies piled high like bricks of dismay.

Then came that fateful day, a single moment,
When we both knew it was over,
Words unspoken, yet sharply felt,
A silent goodbye, a broken promise.

And so, my first love, you left a scar,
A wound that slowly healed over time,
But in its place, a lesson learned,
That love is both beautiful and fragile.

So I rise from the ashes, stronger, wiser,
With a heart rebuilt, ready to love again,
For though the first may fade into memory,
Love's eternal flame still burns within.
