Often

Doreene Felder 1967 (Phila.)

Often I wondered why stages
Of moving  went through my life

I realized I needed to forgive
Before starting out right

I needed to let go of things
From the past

If I didn't  I couldn't  begin to live
The life I could have.

I held on to anger frustration  and all
Though it was a set up for a greater
Intense fall.

I needed to move on to be free
From the pain.

It really helped knowing why Jesus was slain.
