Little Feet

The long-awaited
joy one day arrived
like a small flower
inside me
celebrations and
songs were felt
the blessing on its
way was here

´´Change of plans¨,
said the Lord
A dark cloak
covered me
black tears flowed
without stopping
your broken wings
flew to the sea

A difficult moment
made us sad
all united in prayer
we gathered
strength to continue
hoping for another
miracle to share

The sacred designs
already had marked
the day and the
place
the blessing
returned to
illuminate

This time God did
not fail
A divine breath was
reserved
Upon seeing him
calm for the first
time
I could not believe
my astonishment

So tender and small
from my womb
came forth
a reflection of
myself
A perfect gift, a
testimony of love
