I Love You

I love you's were rarely said when I was younger

all those nights of crying in my room

for no one to show up

screaming from the other room was my lullaby

every I love you I heard was hollow

like no one meant it

I thought someone actually loved me

but they just used me

like you use a machine for spare parts

but I found someone new

the definition of love

he treats me well

I hope we never grow apart

About this poem

This is written about my current BF, I love him with all of my heart.
