The Machine

Lindsay Mayeux 1992 (United States of America)

The Eye of Sauron
A war of the unseen
Good and evil clash
The Earth
A battleground
This is ground zero
Data tracking
Computer chips
Digital prison
Watchmen
Watching
The innocent,
Butchered or
Torn apart
To bring about our
Despair
The hopelessness
It feeds on
This machine
Controlled and made
By the Beast
We are its energy
Its hate for us immeasurable
We are but a cog
To the rulers in charge
Darkness reigning
The devil's stage
They can't take
What we don't allow
