The Sea of people.

A J C 1958 (Swansea, MA)

The sea of people.

As I walk through a sea of people, I can feel that some are good, some are bad, some are happy, and some are sad. It makes me mad. Then I look and can feel their pain and their sorrows, and they don't have any more tomorrows. If I could borrow all their pain and sorrows and give them back there tomorrow's, but you see, it's not up to me to decide; I have no more tomorrows that they can borrow. All I have is today, and that is the fee I must pay. If you look close, then you will see that the people are me.

About this poem

This poem is actually true I have a hundred things wrong with me I'm in the hospital every month. I guess I have to pay the fee. The one thing I enjoy is helping people.
