What We Do Matters

Pastoral
I see the evil.
The darkness and
The plume of madness.
What will it take to stop it?

I hope the answer
Is not Hell, don’t let it be
That terrifying spell.
Oh, God save us from it.

Save us from ourselves
And from the devil,
All of his evil beings as well.
Break free from the crust

And to God we trust.
We must muster and
Be triumphant not just
For ourselves but for others.

Some have no hope
And are trapped in a cycle
Of defeat with no way out.
We must spring them free.

Freedom from a curse
Before it gets worse.
God deliver us by
What we now do.
