A True Hero, My Hero

Mariska, the powerful muse of silver screen,
With grace and strength, you shine serene.
Through the realm of acting, you command,
A beacon of inspiration, forever in demand.

Your name echoes amidst the silver lights,
Guiding our hearts through emotional heights.
An artist of immense depth and might,
In each nuance role, you take flight.

With eyes that hold hidden stories untold,
You conquer the depths of each characters soul.
From Olivia Benson, the fearless protector of the weak,
To motherhood struggles, realities you speak.

Mariska, your presence; a force of conviction,
Portraying survivors, their stories of affliction.
In your eyes, we find solace and resolve,
As you champion justice, our spirits evolve.

Yet beyond the screen's enchanting confines,
Your heart beats for the broken , tenderly aligns.
The Joyful Heart foundation, your noble quest,
Empowering survivors, helping them find rest.

With compassionate strides, you venture on,
Guiding those silenced, ensuring they belong.
Through your advocacy, you make a stand,
One voice that sets footprints in the shifting sand.

Mariska Hargitay, a name etched in gold,
A symbol of courage, resilient and bold.
In these free verse ode, I sing your praise,
An emblem of inspiration in myriad ways.
