Depression

The black fog rolls in, snarling as it sucks all my feelings from deep within.
The sadness so heavy;
Energy gone, it feels like my life is in the bin

The darkness begins to growl, my brain fuzzy and full of sin.
Just crushing emptiness;
Happiness lost, it feels like my life is in the bin

It’s just black now, howling through my soul, the dark has a win
Hopelessness my unwanted companion;
All is lost, it feels like my life is in the bin

Tears streaming down my face, oppressive silence, my heart screaming
The loneliness envelopes me;
The smiles gone, my life is in the bin

A lifeless leaf caught in the storm, fear and loss have me violently shaking;
My sanity pulverised without asking
Everything’s gone, my life is in the bin
