Femicide

Granton Korir 2024 (Kenya)

Dust have not settled
For our fallen sisters
Our rage on the femicide
Out there walking with pride
To which side
To which stride
Would we "women" be safe and abide

The ringing bells goes unheard
Your cheap cents aren't worth my blood
Should I lock my self away?
For the fear of unquenchable thirst
Should me and my sisters be afraid
Walk in shadows fearing our lives
One thing I know
The unsettled dust will settle
They will settle upon your graves
