GRIEFS HOLLOW HURT

In shadows cast by falling tears,
A broken heart now filled with fears.
I walk this path while torn apart,
Grieving the loss of my parent’s heart’s.
Once upon a time their arms were home,
Guiding me through life's unknown.
Their love was like sunshine, warm and bright,
Now dims away, darkened by night.
In their absence a void remains,
A hollowness that echoes endless pain.
Oh how I wish to hear their voice,
To feel their touch, to have the choice.
Their laughter, their wisdom, forever lost,
A heavy burden, at an unbearable cost.
Though my tears may fall and my heart may ache,
Their memory is something that I'll never forsake.
So I'll grieve, I'll mourn, I’ll hurt and I'll cry,
To feel their love, I'll just look to the sky.
Although they've left this earthly plane,
Their love within me will forever remain.
