Love right ?

Love right? 2002 (East London)

When I think about love
I bite my tongue
On how people cross fingers to cross-roads
In the distant coming future
With their present Lovers

Breaking apart is certain,
When brains and Hearts decide to repel
Nor rewriting of vows,
Nor refill of happiness ,
Nor apologies ,
Will stop the breaking into dust
Of past strong love bonds

Air may be the cause of death
In the breaking down of toxic love
The chemistry you came with
Turned into spheres of unwavering fear
of falling in love again

Some see ropes as an easier path
Some dissolve into trauma
Some seek vengeance
Some take alcohol showers
It’s not clear which will live peace
Or the range of healing one might take

Not all rocky rounds lead to grassy and softy ends
Not only appearance of darkness but also light can cause blindness
Even answers can live you uncertain
Yes, You can claim life is unfair,
But what if fair ?.

About this poem

This poem about is my experiences of wanting to be loved by the same person which ended up breaking me when things didn’t work the way I thought they would. I also combined my observations on what people do when love doesn’t work they way the imagined it would. So it lives a mark of bitterness or anger sometimes leading into suicide, also trauma.
