Telewhating?.................
Forty some odd years gone by,
Since 1st opening a door,
Blessed with my first born son so bright & inquisitive,
When deciding to implore...........
An introduction of a computer,
Foreseeing a posibility,
The wave of the future incorporating fun with learning like experimentally.
Who would have thought
In heights or depths that it had grown,
Compiters trying to replace,
People or tasks now overthrown..........
So I try to focus on positive benefits such as in the acts of telemarketing,
A computer can an may filter out,
Those defined as strokers, the lonely & the bored who so willingly........
Waste time chatting on telephones,
While a robot might identify those seriously,
Yes, having experience myself,
Thought of ways to make different or interesting personally.
And being of dinosaur days
I still prefer the mail man,
As emails or texts are usually.........
On auto delete, just depends!
If from a contact or person saved,
Believing telemarketing now just silly
Social media that nonsensed paved,
I'm sure there are others like myself,
Feeling or knowing cheaper cost gives elements of self permission not need to save.
Nor grab the attention,
All just the same,
I miss logos, even eye catching flyers,
Those memorable jingles that did claim.
Worthiness to attraction,
A valued time set for consideration,
Now I say telemarketing........
Inspires the motions of setting all phones "On Fire" in demonstration.
How many ads or information
Can just so easily be passed up
Mostly due to faulty reputation
That technology also even more corrupt.
About this poem
Cheap Facsimilies often not viewed, Inner voice agrees saying just pennies......
