Downpour

I was caught in a downpour
It's falling on me
But I'm falling too
I know I'm sheltered
If I'd run for you
A little more steadier
In the raging storm
For I'am a flying debris
In your wind, uncertain and torn.
I was drenched in a downpour
Water streaming down my face
But I'm weeping too.
If only it'd washed away
All the ticking clocks,
The winding roads against choice
The mirrors awaiting her eyes,
My gaze.
I was drowned in a downpour
Floating, embracing the shallow now.
I'm swimming against the rapids
But I'm moving too.
