After the war

Aisha Sheikh 2008 (Multan punjab)

When I went back to my village after
It was to totally changed my dear
Streams used to flow here was destroyed for forever
Burnt trees are giving a fear
Smile of people has been turned into tears
Bird used to chatter there
Now sound of weeping is what I can hear
After seeing my weeping dear
My eyes was also filled with tear
And When I heard about my dead peer
I am soldier but unaware
Where my all strength went from there
Why some time tear is better to bear
