Closed Wounds

Closed Wounds 1997 (Alliston)

Scars resting on the mind
Will leave one’s eyes blind
To the opportunity of unity
Scars resting on the heart
Makes love and happiness feel far apart
Scars resting on the soul
Leaves one’s identity with a hole
Identifying the lost piece is like finding gold

Some scars never fade away
The visualization causes afflictions Maybe traumatic conniptions
That only your person can take away

In regards to scars, time heals
Time feels like an open field
Or like navigating the Labyrinth
Lost in time while losing time
