When the moon lay in the grass,
With the stars in the sky.
I hope you pick a dream among them.

As you dance with the stars,
With the moon there by your side,
And you dance to the nightingale’s song.

With the wind in the tree’s,
Whispering to you.
The goodnight lullaby

About this poem

I wrote this after having a miscarriage, I was only 15 at the time and I had a lot of confusing emotions at the time. It helped me to put my thoughts into a better place.
