Shame

The hollowness that’s always looming,
Implantations of a parent all consuming,
Finally able to recognize its face ,
I prepare to ride the waves .

Grey and colossal they roam inside
Entrenched in me they reside,
Plots of my death they practice habitually,
My response has naturally formed ritually,

In grace I’ve begun to dance ,
Which can tame them into trance,
Allowing me to be more of man,
This faith will restore me to be who I truly am.
