The lonely seashore.

A J C 1958 (Swansea, MA)

The lonely seashore.

I love the lonely shore as my feet sink in the sand it feels grand. Where no one intrudes. I look out at the big blue sea, and I can hear the echoes of its music in its roar. I don't love any man less, but nature even more. but maybe I could steal its power. And be strong forever more. I look, and as the wind blows, I can see the waves with their white caps. So I got out my hat. I love the sea and the sea love's me. What I express, I cannot conceal as I sit and eat my daily meal. That is how I feel. The sea is part of my soul even as I grow old. The sea is my family and there is know other.
