Perspective

Robert loughran 1962 (Ireland)

Perhaps i should stop at 30 poems,i mean what more can little me say.

I barely represent even a second in the 24 hours of day.

A tiny perspective on the scope of human experience.

Stringing together words ,nicely wrapped for convenience,

Trying to compress and at the same time expand.

While avoiding the predictable, the overtly planned

A strange task to be sure ,yet a golden release,

fom the machinations of mind ,to a place of deep peace.

So i will keep with the scribing,i will still have my say.

And sifting and sorting ,will find my own way.

About this poem

That our perspective is a tiny part of human experience but our search is universal.
