I Can Forget But Why

In the cold days of winter,
In the dark raining nights,
When cold winds touched me,
Your thought made my heart delight.

When darkness surrounded me,
When stars said goodbye,
I heard an echo of your laughter and
A whisper of your smile.

When clouds caressed the sky,
When raindrops knocked my window,
I felt like you have arrived.

But, it was just my imagination and
The creativity of my mind,
Which pretended to forget that,
On just like this rainy night.
You died.
