"Genuine Smiles in the Sky"

In life, we run and we fly like the wind,
Chasing dreams and leaving doubts behind,
But some try to deceive and be unkind,
Their false smiles unable to mend.

At first, it seemed genuine and true,
Their sweetness like a balm to my soul,
But soon their energy began to take its toll,
And I knew what I had to do.

I made the choice to go and protect my heart,
To shield myself from their deceit,
For in their presence, I could not find peace,
Their lack of authenticity tearing me apart.

So I'll keep running, flying high,
Surrounded by genuine smiles in the sky.
