SO FEW OF US WILL LEARN

So many of our youths go out
So few come home again
So few know what it's all about
So few of them explain

So few of them are in the know
So few with many foes to fight
So few of them survive to grow
So few will see the dawning light

So few will see peace on earth
So few will ever live as one
So few will see each other's worth
So few will love each other's son

So many of our youth go out
So few of them return
So many with their souls burned out
So few of us will learn.
