If Milk Cartons Could Talk.

If Milk Cartons Could Talk.

If you seek to find lost mind,
Hold the light and look behind,
If it still remains away from you,
Go to the closet and look in a shoe,
Not there either a mind of plunders,
Where must be is what one wonders,
Perhaps it’s been gone since the other day,
Look under each rock that lie in the way,
Remaining lost while still so near,
Up to thin walls do press your ear,
Sound of none with light so strong,
Climb high the rope that reins so long,
Compass spins and eyes then shake,
A team of many this search should take,
Finding false and coming dry,
Turn your eyes toward the sky,
Still no mind can be found,
Tilt your head and search the ground,
Out of turn and time so lost,
Forget the mind and then the cost,
Finding mind most never does,
Perhaps your mind then never was.
