Deep whispered secrets

Its time  to be told, the truth will now unfold.
Deep whisper secrets, with shame it was treated.
Dead men tell no tales but the living the secrets fail.

The hurtful eyes will not disguise the truth from the wise.
So the secrets from the depths will rise.
Tearing at the hearts of the innocent.
Bringing shame where ever it went.

It would have been best to have left it to rest.
For the sins of the father long forgotten days
The ultimate price the children must now pay.

Betrayed by blood ties, heartbreaking are the children's cries.
Blood ties and strong roots, now lay underfoot.

The children their ancestry lost, must now count the cost.
Devastated by the deep whispered secrets.
