In the blink of an eye

In the gentle hand holding of the one you choose and trust as a child. The walks in the park playing with the other kids and nothing to worry about except what playground equipment to use. Then at home the warm safety surrounded by things that will become fond memories as an adult. Flash now to many years ahead and now you are a parent and you see in your own child the promise of the youthful innocence. One day you will be a grand parent and the grand kids look to you for that magical imagination that's comes from years of living. The events make the full circle of 3 generations and life becomes this unbelievable trip that when deeply thought about is to short. As the months pass you contemplate all the things you did in your life and you hope that it made a difference.  Will tonight be the end for you in a peaceful undisturbed enternal sleep. Hi God there you are.
