Love For A Person

Love For A Person
By Robert T. Davenport
When you got love for a person, it's a bond that won't break,
It's a flame that burns bright, no matter what it takes.
Love doesn't fade easily, it lingers in your soul,
Leaving an imprint on your heart, making you feel whole.
People may come and go, like waves upon the shore,
But true friends, they leave footprints, forevermore.
They stand by your side, through thick and thin,
Their love and support, a treasure you'll always win.
In this journey called life, we meet many faces,
Some are mere acquaintances, filling empty spaces.
But real friends, they touch your heart, deep and true,
Their presence brings joy, their absence makes you blue.
Love for a person, it's a feeling so divine,
It withstands the test of time, it continues to shine.
Through the ups and downs, the laughter and tears,
Love remains constant, erasing all fears.
So cherish those who leave footprints on your heart,
For they are the ones who played a significant part.
They bring happiness and warmth, like a ray of sun,
And their love, my friend, is a battle that's won.
When you got love for a person, it's a bond that won't sever,
It stays with you always, and lasts forever.
So hold onto those who leave footprints on your heart,
For their love is a treasure, a priceless work of art.
