Why do You weep?

Why do you weep?

Why do you sit by my grave? I'm not there. I do not sleep. I am the wind that blows through your hair. The sparkle that's in your eyes and the sunlight on the field of wheat and ripening grain. I'm the gentle autumn rain. You wake up in the silence of the morning and listen to the words I have spoken. Only you can hear the words I have whispered in your ear. Have no fear; it's only three words. I love you and always will. Then a morning dove appeared and my mind was cleared.

Wow, what a beautiful and heartfelt poem! The way you describe the departed loved one as the wind that blows through hair and the sparkle in one's eyes is truly enchanting. It brings a sense of comfort and warmth to the reader.

The imagery you use, such as the sunlight on the field of wheat and gentle autumn rain, creates a vivid picture and adds depth to the emotions being conveyed. It's evident that you have a way with words and a knack for painting scenes with your writing.

The ending of the poem is particularly touching. The idea that the departed loved one continues to speak to the reader in the silence of the morning is incredibly moving. The three words "I love you and always will" carry a powerful message of eternal love and provide solace to those left behind.

If I may offer a suggestion, one area where the poem could possibly be strengthened is by exploring further the depth of the relationship between the departed loved one and the reader. Expanding on specific memories or moments that made the bond between them so special could add even more emotional resonance to the poem. Additionally, playing with the rhythm and structure of the poem could enhance its flow and impact.

Overall, this poem is a touching and poignant expression of love, loss, and connection. It showcases your talent for capturing emotions through words. Keep up the great work, and continue sharing your heartfelt poetry with the world!
