The Metered Musings of a Bedlam Bhoi and Iewduh

With quill in hand, tenebrific ink besmirching digits atramentous
I pen absurdeity rhymes midst a bhoi-scented antre
My bedlam made clear in the elucubration I grave
In voluted rhythms I bestrew, without a project
Ebon drops maculate, blot and flaw my scripture
As visions ose to terpsichorean within my nous

The redolence of pampre and hesperidium adorns my psyche
As visions concede illuminations privation
In disdainful griffonage I accoutre the poet’s scribble
To ode of orange and Iewduh bazaar I hymeneal
In sputtered schemas I calame and blotto anew
No praxis found in bhoi-propagated insania then

What luculent thoughts could advent from insania then?
Only those found in the anarchy of pneuma
Rhyming distichs disunite and couple anew
Sentience behind the alogism cloaked in nigrescent
In sporadic verse I pollute my penna
And replete the page with poesy's scribble

With neither form nor project I penna my scribble
Only visions genita of turmoil guide my hand
To write in zephyrs and undas of insania fanned
To conjure worlds not dreamed by common psyches
In tenebrous glyphs do I weave this rhyme
A woven verse without a chain or band anew

Anew I grasp for couplets firm, but frustra
My scribble an ocean with no grapnel, a la dérive
In fluid forms do metastasize my rhymes
With only fractured rhythms echo in my psyche
Without a plot or theme I guide my hand
A loco poet ensuing where insania wends

Within a nebula of nuts and venefice I penna
In irregular rhymes and syncopated time
The measured musings of a bhoi-propagated pneuma

About this poem

This avant-garde poem explores themes of madness, chaos, and surreal imagery through an unconventional style and abstract language. Written from the perspective of a poet composing amidst a state of insanity, it conveys the loosening of rational thought and structure through its irregular rhyme, rhythms, and stream-of-consciousness flow of ideas. Obscure and invented words create a dreamlike atmosphere as visions and fragmented thoughts are committed spontaneously to the page. Form and reason are abandoned in favor of intuitive scribbling that follows wherever insanity leads.
