The Mermaid

Though they echo
bow below
her beauty far and wide
the songs of Sirens
yet to call
the caves have calmed the tide.
And when the sail
has reckoned holes
the sunken ship
does bare.
The lullaby of Siren Merms
to save their
time
doth spare.
For deeper than the
bluest sea
the ocean tells no lies.
Her sorrow melts into the grasp
of salted drops
disguise.
To save the life
and lift him up
the Mermaid works so fast
to bring his life up to the sunshine
Letting go of his sailing past.
