Let her dream

Let her dream before she learns to ski,
Let her keep her innocence before snatch that with adolescence ,
Let her learn to anticipate her journey before you choose one for her ,
Let her follow her footsteps before you find one idol for her ,
Let her speak before you decide to pass on your stereotypical thoughts on her background,
Let her achieve before she decides to pass on her achievements creditability to generations,
Let her focus before your mind think of diverting it through egoistic proposals,
Let her celebrate her life before you sign her up for the lifetime bond,
Let her dream big before it’s too late for her to achieve it !

About this poem

This poem “Let her dream” is inspired from the lives of all the young ladies out their who actually wanted to excel in their lives but can’t due to unforeseen circumstances. Their voices were suppressed and never heard . I really wanted to ignite the spirit of self belief in them through this poem .
