Stardust

A star once,
Turned into dust at once.
The charcoal dark  sky,
Would call for it,
Cry for it,
Yearn for it,
But a star once it had become a scar forever.
It’s absent glow,
It’s dying shimmer,
Jeered into the sky’s void.
The death of the star,
Which had been predicted a far,
Came in early.
To search for it,
You would get lost,
To get lost,
would be your own death,
For you are a star yourself.

About this poem

This poem talks about the inevitability of death and that we are all bounded by it but with different destinies. If we grief for a loss our whole life it’s going to affect us in such a way that we’ll get lost in what’s destined for us. It also highlights that death is spontaneous in occurring and may leave the people affected by it grieving and mourning reminding them of their immortality
