no hero

 Forget me in this moment;

                                                  For I do not exist.

     The shallows                      pale

                                                         in the wilderness.

Unkempt

                                                            it f a

                                                                     lls

and the     cold                 freezes

                           bitterness.

                       Untouched

                    is so much of all.

    The unencompassed

                   and otherwise      infinite     vacuum

of                      emptiness            eternal.

     This
is the path of the soul.

 Unknown                   it is

                              to almost anyone.

        For that

                                           is the way of infinity.

About this poem

I wrote this one freezing cold January night alone in a motel room. I was warm but I was alone and It was a silent night. I was picturing a meadow with the tree line and stretch of land covered in an immaculate layer of newly fallen snow. Enjoy!

M. Lucas Frost

Hi my name is Gabey Hawkesbridge. Frost is a pseudonym because the author name is almost as important as the poem itself. I am Canadian and I love life, although I recognize that it can be very challenging at the best of times. Thanks for reading. Take care. more…
