love that wasnt made to last
In the depths of sorrow's embrace,
Where shadows linger and tears trace,
A tale of heartbreak, sad and true,
Unfolds within this verse, for you.
A fractured soul, once strong and bright,
Now dances in the darkest night.
A love once cherished, now in shards,
Leaving scars that time disregards.
The echoes of laughter, once so sweet,
Now whispered secrets in defeat.
A symphony of shattered dreams,
Resounds within these silent screams.
Loneliness, a constant companion,
As hope fades in this desolation.
Promises broken, trust now lost,
Like autumn leaves, they turn to dust.
The heart, a fragile vessel, breaks,
As love's illusion slowly fades.
It bleeds in shades of crimson pain,
A canvas of loss, a love in vain.
Memories, like ghosts, haunt the mind,
Moments once cherished, left behind.
The ache of longing, a haunting refrain,
A melody of sorrow, filled with disdain.
The tears, unending rivers of woe,
Flow freely, with no solace to bestow.
They carve a path upon cheeks of despair,
A testament to love's cruel affair.
Yet, in this darkness, a flicker of light,
A glimmer of hope, shining so bright.
For in the ruins of a broken heart,
Resilience blooms, a brand-new start.
Though sadness lingers, and pain remains,
Strength emerges from these heartache stains.
And in the depths of despair's abyss,
A phoenix rises, from the darkest mist.
So let this verse, both sad and bleak,
Serve as a reminder, though hearts may break,
There's beauty in sorrow, strength in the pain,
And hope can rise, even in the saddest of refrains.
