December Birthdays

Rhema Etman 2007 (Albany)

I have a December birthday.
Truth is they are the worst.
The end of the year takes forever.
It’s almost like we’re cursed.
It gets lost in the Christmas bliss.
Sadly all my presents mix.
And I’m not just being greedy.
This is something we need to fix.
I feel a little forgotten.
But it shouldn’t bother me.
I last about all these years.
I’ll make it through another 80.
