Momentum

I walk in darkness; pain is understood, love is understood and nothing is forgotten.

The remnants of emotions left behind are dense; pieces of the old me are left to wither and never be seen again.

Carnality acts as a rip tide current in the process of evolving; the waves of desire are constant and unwavering.

These waters are troubled, but my descent brings calm; movement is still required but the resistance has subdued.

Deeper, Deeper is what I hear; the mind is no longer willing to obey the body, and the physical succumbs to a higher authority.

The conscious becomes curious of the unknown power; and the subconscious is waiting to be greeted.

My purpose becomes clear and I can now breathe in the water.

I realize I am no longer walking.
