The legacy of the fallen

They marched for justice, for change, for peace.
They held up signs, they took to the streets.
But as they raised their voices, so loud and clear,
A bullet silenced them, their lives cut short.

These young men and women, full of hope and dreams,
Whose lives were ended by a senseless scheme.
But still their message echoes through the night,
Their voices, though silent, are full of might.

They fought for freedom, for a better life,

But though their lives were cut short, too soon,
Their memories, their voices will live on.
Their message of justice, of peace and hope,
Will echo through the years, like a sweet, soft note.

They will not be forgotten, their names never lost,
For they fought for what's right, no matter the cost.
So let us honor them, and keep their message strong,
As we fight for justice, for peace, for a better song.

Though they are gone, their legacy remains.
