Lunar New Year
Lunar New Year
By William He
They turning in lamplight,
Intersecting the others churning East Wind.
Dim light of joy shines in a dark sea of conformity once.
Dumplings and spring rolls with baskets of fish,
Click of mahjong tiles drifts down the hall.
Playing with hidden hand.
Sparkling in winning deck,
Luck seeding the flow for strokes and more this night.
Eyes leaking the blood of cupidity,
The bitter sweet wail of insecurity whispers softly,
The moments cast an active spin,
Moves lost and found from thoughts unseen.
Taking things easy with WeChat,
Dullness hidden by their bright radiant smile.
Their images settling on petals like dew.
They can tape themselves dressed as elves,
To video yourself Samsara and twerk.
Sweet moments at dawn,
Seasons swirl in circle trip,
Scarlet envelopes and blessings of fortune as well.
BeautyCam aligns knack with steady moves,
Passionate in radiance on clouds cyber stars fly,
Feeling more comfortable being himself,
Even if it is cringey or garrulous at that time.
