Do Not Follow the Crowd
Do not follow the crowd,
They may be pushy, insistent, and loud,
Always correct in their own sight,
This, of course, doesn’t make them right.
When the society around you is lost,
You must do right, no matter the cost...
When the masses become spiritually ill,
You must provide the prayer-laden pill.
When immorality becomes the norm
You must strive not to conform,
When people idolize the bad and the brash
You must call the emperor trash.
Do not follow the hollow
As they grab and grasp and wallow,
Though they worship self and treasure,
What they’ve lost is beyond all measure.
