Who Cares Any More

WHO CARES ANY MORE 1963 (Minnesota)

**WHO CARES ANY MORE**
By Jennifer Saunders

How can I rely on you?
when you turn your back and pretend
i’m not real

How can I rely on you?
when the things you do
are not things expected of you?

How are things gonna ever get better
when you hang out with those doing wrong
people who got you going down strong

Why does everything around us seem so
unpredictable?  This then keeps us from
learning the way we really feel,
and goes to show how things have gone terribly wrong

It seems to me that in this world
we all have one chance
to be the worlds best example
and at this point there is no room to advance

So, if it makes any difference to you
be someone that can be relied on
don’t act like my life means nothing
do something before my life is done.

About this poem

I worked with people who was trying to get out of the drug life failing terribly, but it only brought love in my heart for them. Determined to love them no matter I was touched and compelled to writer this poem as I think about their decisions & choices.
