What is fear, what can it be

What is fear, what can it be, what is fear, it is a lie to you and to me

What is fear, what can it be, what is fear, it is from the devil you see

I have heard the saying fear is a liar, I have heard the saying fear is false evidence appearing real

All of this is true for here is God's Word on this subject we call fear

Fear is a liar, the devil prowls around like a roaring lion looking for someone to devour

Fear is a liar the devil uses this as a tactic to steal kill and destroy

The devil has made it his favorite toy

So how do we overcome this lie of fear, how do we overcome the devil who is near....

We stand on the truth, the truth of God's Word

He does not give us a spirit of  fear, but of Power, Love and a Sound Mind

Submit to God, resist the devil, he will flee

The devil is a coward can't you see?

I can do all things through Christ who strengthens me!

When I am afraid, I will put my trust in Thee

For I know Jesus will never leave or forsake me

So what is fear, what can it be, what is fear, it is a lie to you and to me

So how do I overcome this lie called fear

Lean into God's Agape Love,
it is so dear

There is no fear in love, for perfect love cast out all fear

Jesus has freed us from the chains of sin and death,
So don't let fear take your last breath

Fear is liar, it is nothing else,
For the devil is a coward and can't use anything else, fear is his tactic and always will be

So let's overcome it with Truth, The truth of God's Word,
And know that with Jesus,
We have the victory
To overcome anything that is thrown at you and at me
