I will give you rest

When my mind grows dark
and weary, when my soul is crying out to live, when at night time I get leery, I run to my Jesus who loves and forgives....

In my heart, He reminds me,
of who I am in Him,
I am His masterpiece and He guides me, to a life free from sin.

He forgave me over 2,000
years ago on the cross
that one Friday night
and 3 days later
He came back to Life.

My salvation and healing only comes from Him. He is my Bridegroom, and I am His best friend .

As it says in Galatians 2:20,
I am crucified with Christ yet none the less I live.

I live because of Christ in me for He has conquered death,
My Abba Father will not let anything harm me, for I'm a beloved of His.

He left me His word, The Bible to guide me and to keep my paths straight, and at night when the devil tries to harm me, in my thoughts and in my mind, Jesus is standing over me, whispering into my ear, my dear child Laura' I love you so much my dear.

Remember my words in
Psalm 4:8, I will both lie down in peace, and sleep for you alone,
O Lord, Make Me dwell in safety.

He then gently says, He will never leave me or forsake me, He will always be near......
So what in the world do I really have to fear?

Fear is a lie of the devil, it is false evidence appearing real, so at night time when I lay down and my mind starts to wander and I feel the worries and anxieties of the days slipping in, I need to call on the name of Jesus, my Lord, my Bridegroom and my Best Friend.
He sticketh closer than a brother.

He Loves Me Like No other.

I choose this night to rely on Him and give Him my problems that I've buried within, I shall ask Him to guide my heart, my mind and my dreams to keep away the nightmares, so I will never have to scream, I want to rest and slumber better than I ever have before, and I picture Jesus going before me and preparing my bed and pillow for rest, He whispers in my ears, child' you are blessed, close your eyes now.

The Great I Am, Our Father will help you sleep, you will dream of milk and honey and everything that is sweet, and when you wake in the morning,
I will still be right here, holding your hand and giving you peace throughout the day.

So' Good night my dear child, have a great rest, see you in the morning, you are so blest.
