The Toxic Lovers

The Toxic Lovers
He was all things bad
She was all things good.
He was a womanizer,
She was drawn to celibacy.
He was someone that created pain
She enjoyed the thrill of it.
She was someone who loved to be in love,
She was always hurt by it.
They were together for ages,
Sometimes broken apart.
They were always lost without each other
They broke each other's hearts.
They are now emotionless
They walk around in agony with no soul
He still will not let her go.
She was broken so much so.
He moved on,
She wasn't as strong.
She waited day after day longing for his embrace again,
To see his face again.
She looked out of her window
She waited every night
Even just to see him for a moment
Even if it was another fight
In the cold rain she walked the street alone
She could never find love and happiness,
 He was her home.
She looked up and seen the man he used to be.
But it couldn't be real, because it was all just a dream.
The real him was gone,
And so was she.
