Movies

I remember the movies,
The movies of soul and old
When everything we watched
Was made of solid gold.

There was no point in argument,
And the fun was all the same.
But now movies are full of gore,
And things that bring us shame.

We love to watch of many days past,
Because there is no better view.
The world was of no hate, but love,
And that was all that had ensued.

Now can I see a memory
Of those clear days of old?
I seem to see those days of glee
Have all been turned so cold.

They’ve twisted visions of what we find
Into a grim and grotesque mess.
For those who say they’ve watched movies behind,
Can consider themselves to be blessed.

I remember there was a time when I didn’t watch movies online…Snd now I watch the taboo ones daily…Oh well…I wonder what Heather meant when she sang “I saw a movie and it just wasn’t the same”…⛄️
