Defending Insignificance

Substantially massive is the evidence.
With proof producing the truth of it.
Yet,
Lost it is.
In a woven fabric,
Stitched to fiction a reality fantasized.
Disguising the original quilt.
No longer recognized.

The duplicate replacing it?
More brilliant in perfection.
Less are the vibrant colors.
And defiantly defended.
For the nothingness that appears.
To imagine an image idolized,
Hollow and shallow inside and also out.
From top to bottom.
Represents,
Deluded expectations.
Of those who support and follow,
That which is anticipated in minds...
Barren of thought.
Useless in common sense.
Gone.
And not pretending it to have had!

Although...
Promises of candied covered sweets.
And Rose colored glasses.
Updated to replace the facing of reality.
Comes.
To forever addict pointless nonsense,
Craved.
With a doing to appetize,
Morning, noon and night.
Guaranteeing without dreams to wish.
Or reason they exist at all!
