A collective failure

In a world consumed by hate and pain,
Where destruction and chaos seem to reign,
Mother Nature's fury, a tempest untamed,
And the anger of nations, forever inflamed.

For two hundred years, we've toiled and fought,
Our mission, it seems, to destroy without thought,
The planet we call home, now battered and scarred,
As we march on, oblivious and marred.

Oh, Mother Nature, so wrathful and fierce,
Your anger, a warning, so crystal clear,
Yet we turn a blind eye, deaf to your cries,
As the world crumbles, beneath darkened skies.

The U.S. of A, once a beacon of hope,
Now a target of hatred, a slippery slope,
For the sins of the few, the many must pay,
As the world unites, against us, they say.

But it's not just a nation, it's humanity's plight,
A collective failure, a never-ending fight,
To heal the wounds we've inflicted so deep,
And salvage a future, where love and peace seep.

Will Mother Nature strike, with vengeance untold?
Or will the world unite, before we all fold?
The choice is ours, to mend or to break,
To rewrite the ending, for our children's sake.

Let us rise above hate, let compassion prevail,
For in unity lies the power to heal,
May we learn from our past, and change our ways,
Before this crashing world, forever decays.
