mad hippie poet 1974 (new jersey)

I freed my mind from the ties that bind my eyes, which are starting to open slowly. No longer am I blind, no longer do I need to hold my breath asking in my silence, is this life because I have known death? What do I know? Being anything comes easily, and nothing is ever for free, so I learned to fly, looking at different things from the sky.

I am free with my back against the wall, for this is when I stand tall, finding out who I am and who they are. They can continue to push, not knowing that I refuse to fall.

As I sit here reflecting on my life and all the air I breathe in, I realize that I am always free. I just didn't believe that I was able to see now that I'm a little bit crazy, I embrace the things that are meant to be

This fear and anger can no longer control my mind or heart. I finally figured this out after that. Life seemed so easy, but now those feelings got lost somewhere between heaven and hell. I am free to know what I buy and sell. I am free to throw more change done than bottomless wishing well. speaking my truth with my feet on fire and a new burning desire
