If they only knew
Dear Mr Jesus, I had to come to you.
Im really scared I dont know what to do.
Mommie sent me to my room I cant go outside today.
She said I cant see my friends until my bruises go away.
Mom and Dad got to fighting last night, Dad got up and left.
She was so upset I thought she was going to beat me to death.
It hurt real bad when she hit me I tried hard not to cry.
She said she hated me, she wished I would just die.
Mr Jesus, she didnt mean it, Mommie was just mad.
I think the more she see's me it makes her miss dad.
Mommie only kicked me once today I think she is feeling better.
Lord daddy is still gone so I am writing you this letter.
I'm sorry for being gone today I got stitches under my eye.
Mommie got mad and punched me I did good an didnt cry.
I told the doctor, "I fell" I'm sorry that I lied.
I hope Mommy is okay she said sorry as she cried.
If it makes mommie feel better let her hit me more.
I don't know if its me or the bruises she adores.
Is this how mommie shows she loves me cause I hurt real bad.
I dont know how much more I can take, I'm sorry for being sad.
Mommie is drinking more now that daddy is back home.
She didn't mean to but today she hit me with daddys phone.
I had to sit by the window and watch my friends play.
Cause both my eyes are black and my lips are swollen today.
Mr Jesus, my parents really love me right.
My body hurts real bad but they no longer fight.
Please Dont tell my mommie but Daddy hits me to.
I'm sorry that I cried please tell me what to do.
I really love them both I wish they only knew.
Please dont be mad Mr. Jesus I think they are sending me to you.
It was such a beautiful thing spending time with them today.
We went shopping they found me a knew place to stay.
It was amazing when my friends seen me they cried.
I didnt understand but the other day I died.
They really hurt me bad this time I know they didnt mean it.
You should have seen the tears they cried i was there and really seen it.
During my funeral no one made a sound.
As officers walked my parents past me laying in the ground
They never looked back I tried really hard not to cry.
As my tombstone reads, "THIS IS WHERE OUR LITTLE ANGEL LIES".
