To Have Both Is Divine

Jamie Tierney 1991 (Cardiff)

Her sweet alluring voice irresistibly seductive, promise of pleasure,

She mesmerises me with her soul song beyond measure.

Her radiating smile infectious, an antidote for inner torture,

She sparkled bright, leaving lasting impression easing all pressure.

Her physical elegance of rhythmic movement gliding like feather,

She flowed, each motion a poem, securing our tether.

Making love as our minds and souls engage deeply,

Every interaction, gesture, expression proves more than just physically.

Hearts may stop, minds may forget, souls love endlessly,

Our hymn spanned over lifetimes and will endure indefinitely.

Unshakeable, unwavering, unbreakable we survive trails, defying distance keenly,

Sacred bond of friendship, timeless love, we dance divinely.

About this poem

Attraction may be between flesh and a connection between souls, with applied patience and faith shall gain both.
