Tested Faith

Under cloudy skies.
Turbulent waters.
And vicious blowing winds.
With a keeping this test of one's faith,
Not an easy task...
To face these unwelcome challenges.
Living through one as another begins.

Yet miraculously within,
Those remaining devoted and faithful...
To having an outlook,
Positive to keep kept that way.
Knowing it is not about the weather outside.
But what they decide in their minds to reside.
With a nourishing to encourage,
The flourishing of it!

Under cloudy skies.
Turbulent waters.
And the viciousness of blowing winds.
Leaving the effect of this,
Allowing the feeling of being neglected.

And often it seems,
No matter what the weather is to be to come...
Always there will be heard from someone,
Faith to keep these tumultuous days...
Is not enough to keep anyone happy.
Even if they wanted to choose,
That way to live.
Since it is their bills to pay.
And creditors owed.
That will not allow them to stay,
Faithfully happy.

Regardless of what they do to pray,
Done to realize after they open their eyes.
Just how negative everything around them is!
And any attempt to avoid it,
Is impossible to notice...
Even the Sun whenever it shines!
Yet they are the ones claiming to be of faith!

'Lift every voice and sing,
We shall overcome.
Lift every voice and sing,
We shall overcome what's done!
Lift every voice and sing.'

'Uh...
What key is that in?'
